One week ago we flew overseas to visit my family in the Czech Republic. For those who are unfamiliar with the distance from Oklahoma to Czech Republic, let's just say roughly 8,000 miles, 3 plane rides (OKC to Chicago, Chicago to London, and London to Prague) or 30 hours from door to door. Try it alone or in our case with our son Kuba (21 months). Let's just say we made it.
Kuba did great considering all the flights, time difference, and different continent. Our stop in Chicago was great, Kuba got to see many planes which he loved to look at, he got to eat a true hot dog, and entertained people all around when we waited for our plane.
In London, he got to experience duty free shopping and even visited Harrolds at the airport. Kuba missed his final airport and destination due to the fact he was sleeping in mommy's arms and woke up 2 hours later in the car. He was a trooper.
My family was very excited to see us and we were happy to see them.
