A Month in Review

Wow!  It's already the end of October and I've been so busy that I haven't even had time to keep this blog updated so you could be informed of all I've done.

And I've been doing a lot lately.

I got to wonder around this Stillwater pumpkin patch and have my pick of any pumpkin because Dad had taught the boys that live here and was apparently an "awesome" teacher.

I was able to spot pumpkins any- and everywhere.

  

I had a blast digging through the vines to look for pumpkins.

I'm so strong that I was even able to pick up and carry my own pumpkins!

 Look!  Over there!  I see another one!

Where'd it go?  I thought I saw a pumpkin over here.

Maybe if I sit down and take a break I'll remember where it was.

I missed watching OSU play today, so I took it upon myself to toss this gourd around like it was the 'ol pig skin.

 Hmm... What now?

 Forget Charlie Brown, I'm the Pumpkin King.

This October we also planted some fall foliage and got an assortment of pumpkins to decorate the house.

I found a gnome in the garden. 

And then added some more seasonal decorations.

You'll notice even my bedroom window is loaded with festive decorations.

The weather has been nice lately too.
So that means I've had the chance to spend some time outside playing in the yard.

This is how I deliver the newspaper.

This is how I use the newspaper as a telescope. 

 Sometimes I get tired of going to Theta Pond to feed ducks.  

Every now and then it's nice to unleash a little mayhem.

A few weeks ago we even made a day-trip to the Oklahoma City Zoo.

Dad suggested we borrow Jack's little red wagon for the zoo.

What it lacked in style, not to mention it wasn't as sporty as my umbrella stroller, the wagon was definitely roomier to haul all my stuff and me.

 At the Children's Zoo, our first stop, I saw pigs and pet goats. 

I saw sheep and bunnies too.  Then I washed my hands.

Here I am checking out some monkeys with Mommy. 

We even got to feed nectar to birds!

A bird even landed on Dad's shoulder like a pirate...

then it moved to his head! 

Good thing it only had an accident on the wagon and not on any of us.

Back to the hand washing.

 Sometimes I struggled to see things.

I even got Dippin' Dots.

It's the ice cream of the future and it tastes delicious!

Are you having fun at the zoo?  Doesn't this face say it all?

 Monkey around?  I don't get it.

Mommy, it's a gorilla.  Quit calling it a monkey.

Monkeys have a tail.  Chimpanzees and gorillas do not.

What'cha doing?

Hanging around?

Cool.

There was even a new baby elephant at the zoo!

Unlike the baby elephant in Ostrava, this pachyderm didn't get my pacifier.

 Monkey around?  More like ham it up.

 Boy was I glad I dragged my parents back to The Great Ape Escape part of the zoo.  While everyone else was watching the gorillas get fed we got this orangutan all to ourselves.

A couple of rides on the carousel, a quick tour through the aquarium, and a banana flavored snow cone and this trip was done.

This October I got to spend a lot of time playing with my good buddy Jack.

This October became Octobeard for Dad when he grew-out his beard.

I got in on the action with my very own bubble beard.

This past month I also enjoyed many of Mommy's yogurts.

 I also found my flip-flops while cleaning out the closet.  

Too bad we had a cold snap in the middle of the month because these quickly became my favorite shoes.

And finally, no, I wasn't beaten by my parents.  This is what it looks like after I get into Mommy's make-up while she's distracted.

I look kind of scary...

Almost like a zombie...

I may have a Halloween costume in the making if my other idea doesn't pan out...
